About

Michael Harrison

Cloud engineer, lifelong learner, and builder of useful things.

I started in a help desk role and worked my way into cloud engineering, deploying applications on Kubernetes across platforms including Azure and Google Cloud. This site is where I publish practical notes from that work and from the projects I explore outside it.

The writing here covers containers, infrastructure, security, programming, and experiments that are worth documenting. I also share lessons from woodworking, repairing hardware, and developing a small hobby farm.

What you will find here

  • Technical tutorials and implementation notes
  • Lessons learned from cloud and Kubernetes projects
  • Programming experiments and useful examples
  • Hands-on repairs, woodworking, and homestead projects
